The beauty of Birdlife around us.

We were blessed when these 2 Rosella Parrots decided to file onto our Silver Birch tree, only about 20 feet from the lounge window.

We thought it quite amazing as our home is only a very short walking distance away from a large and busy shopping mall.

To see the beauty of these birds so close was a real joy to us, as we are Pensioners, and we don't get around the country now as much as we'd like to.

My husband very quickly grabbed our little 3.2 pixel camera. It might be small, but with a person like my husband, who, although he is not professional, takes great photos.
He just seems to know where to place the camera to get the best possible view of each subject.
I have some fantastic photos of different places we have been, and it never ceases to amaze me how someone who has never had any training can take such lovely and fascinating shots.

I trust you will enjoy these. I realize it really has nothing to do with earning extra dollars online, (smile) but it is a part of our lives. Money really isnt the be all and end all of everything, even though we quite frequently have "more month than money".

So as you look at these birds, be thankful that we still have eyes to see their beauty.
